Sport Travel Assistance - Active and Healthy Grant

Overview

Travel assistance is available for students under 18 years of age and seniors over 60yrs who have been selected for a WA State Team or the Australian National Team to represent their chosen sport at a state or national level: 

  • $250 for representation at a state level with interstate or international travel
  • $500 for representation at a national level with interstate travel
  • $1000 for representation at a national level with international travel.

Before completing this application, please ensure that you have read:

All applications will require supporting documents. Please ensure the correct documents are attached when requested in your application.

Supporting documents include:

  • Proof of residential address 
  • Proof of age
  • WA State Team/ National Team Squad selection letter
  • Quotes/ evidence of travel costings 

Incomplete applications will not be considered

Eligibility Check

Applicants must:

  • Have read the Community Grants Program Guidelines to check eligibility
  • Be a resident of the City of Stirling
  • Be a student under 18yrs of age or a senior over 60yrs 
  • Have been selected by the State or National Sporting body to represent Western Australia or Australia 
  • Ensure you apply before travel commences as grant funds will not pay retrospectively
  • Have no outstanding acquittals or debts with the City of Stirling.
