    Eligible items must be compliant with Australian Standards where applicable (please see terms and conditions).

    Items installed by a Licenced Security Agent will be eligible for a 30% rebate (up to $500). Items that may be and are self-installed (do-it-yourself) will be eligible for a 20% rebate (up to $500).

    A security sensor light may be eligible for a 30% rebate if it is mains powered and installed by a Licensed Electrical Contractor. 

    Eligible items that require electrical work e.g. mains powered must be installed by a Licenced Electrical Contractor. 

    Please see the full Terms and Conditions on the City of Stirling's website as some items have minimum purchase values. 

    The rebate amount provided will be up to the maximum amount allowed per item and the accumulative rebate can not exceed $500, including installation costs.

    How to calculate your rebate

    Self-installed equipment spend x 0.20 = rebate amount
    Professionally installed equipment spend x 0.30 = rebate amount

    Please advise of the business that supplied and/or installed the home security or safety item. 

    Please attach a COPY of all Tax Receipts showing the date of purchase, item purchase or service performed (installation). Please note the Tax Receipt must show the business name and ABN number. Please note that a quote is not a proof of purchase. If there are multiple businesses, ensure you provide copies of all Tax Receipts. Please note a Tax Invoice is not proof of purchase and a Tax Receipt must be provided.

          1. Identified which items you are claiming a rebate for? 
          2. Attached copies of dated Tax Receipts?
          3. Obtained permission from landlord if required?
          4. Attached a copy of your proof of address?
          5. If you installed a security camera, have you registered with WA Police (Cam-Map WA | Western Australia Police Force)?

          To avoid delaying your rebate, please ensure you have attached tax receipts. Quotes and invoices will not be accepted.
